Do I need entry clearance before travelling to the UK?
Yes, again, as per the British Government determines that are a visa national, you must apply for entry clearance before travelling to the UK. There is a charge for the application. The Entry Clearance Officer will then issue you entry clearance (more commonly known as a visa) in the form of a sticker in your passport. The entry clearance should normally be valid for the whole length of your course. For MBA, you can expect around 15 months and the book value Date will be one year course. |

How will I be able to Phone my Home after reaching UK?
You will be getting lots of Calling Cards, which will help you to call India in a relatively cheaper Rate. Phone cards come in values of £2, £5, £10 and £20 and you can buy them from newsagents, post offices and Supermarkets or directly from the Website. |

How expensive will it be to keep the Mobile phones?
Same as in India, there will be no charge for receiving on your Mobile Phone. Mobile phones are widely used in the UK and can be particularly convenient for students. Before you buy one, check all details of the competing packages carefully, including both the monthly charge and the charges for calls.
There are two types of Connection: -
On Contract In this the Mobile phone service provider charges a monthly rental and in return give you a contract less rates for calling. This should only be taken if you can control your Budget.
Pay As You Go This is something like a pre paid Mobile in which you have to top up with denominations of £10, £20, £50, £ 100 etc., the only thing in this is the call rates are comparatively high but keeps you bill as per your use and can be controlled. |

Internet usage is widespread in the UK. University provides free Email accounts for their students. In the University, the Internet Usage is free and it is there for 24 hours, so there is no bondage of time of getting in touch with your friends and family.

What is the method of sending Letters / Parcels to Home Country?
One of efficient way is through Post Offices as Royal Mail is very fast and probably the fastest in the World. They are open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, and from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on Saturday. You can also buy stamps at newsagents, Supermarkets and some other shops, and from special vending machines.
Another way is Courier, although it is very expensive but at the same time quick.
DHL and TNT are the best once and safe as you can track it through the Internet. |

Can I work part-time whilst I am studying in the UK?
Yes, you can work around 20 hours in Term Time and around 40 hours in Holidays.
Break up:
Holidays Christmas - 3 Weeks
Easter - 3 Weeks
Summers - 3 Months (June, July, August)

Can my spouse/children work/study whilst I study in the UK ?
Yes, as long as you will be student your family which will be shown as dependent can work full time instead that is around 40 hours per week.Education will be provided free to the children until O Levels, all the expenses of education will be taken care by the Government. |

Can I stay in the UK to work after I have finished studying?
